Every person deserves the opportunity to live fully, connect deeply, and thrive in their community. Balance has been built on a simple belief for 35 years.
What began in 1991 with a commitment to support two individuals has grown into an organization serving more than 125 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through our programs, we help people build friendships, develop independence, and discover new possibilities.
But our work is far from finished. More than 30 individuals are currently waiting for services from Balance, and families continue to look for the support their loved ones deserve.
Your generosity can go twice as far! An anonymous donor has committed a $15,000 matching gift, meaning every dollar you contribute will be matched until the match is reached.
Your gift helps create opportunities for the people we support to try new things, build relationships, and be active members of their communities. It also helps ensure that Balance has the people and resources needed to continue providing quality support.
