With Growth Comes the Need for More Space

The end of 2008 saw Balance move its offices and a portion of the adult day service program (called Pace) to a new space in Saukville. This was an increase from about 1,100 square feet at the Family Enrichment Center in Grafton to the new location with more that 2,400 square feet in Saukville. It was thought that this space would meet the needs of the organization for several years.

After only six months in this new location it became apparent that additional space was needed. The adult day service portion of the organization grew dramatically during that time. As a result, Balance has arranged to lease an additional 2,700 square feet just a couple of blocks from the new space in Saukville. This new space will house the administrative offices of the organization while the current space will remain as one of our adult day services locations.

This new space will also house a new program called “connections” where individuals will have the opportunity to meet with friends, volunteers and staff members to help them connect with community resources. More information on this new program will be coming in 2010.
